SoakR Wins Silver!

Last Night, vital-Gaming Cod4.Eu’s Very own Dan "vital.soakR" Helps participated in the Shotgun Challenge 1.0, A competition run by “Yatzzy” and “Raivz” from Epsilon(org), exclusively for the top players from the Call of Duty Scene.
soakR displayed a series of very impressive performances to reach the final where his opponent would be koWa from pure esports. It was a very tense encounter which was played in the Best of 3 (BO3) format. koWa was able to pick up the first map with a comfortable score of 20-11, but this seemed to only cause soakR’s desire to win to shoot up, and he emerged dominant from the second map with a score of 20-8. This meant that a third map would be played and the map was to be mp_shipment ( not a commonly played map, but in a shotgun FFA challenge it seemed appropriate). This choice seemed to favour soakR as he was able to overcome fnaticMSI.zenith in a previous round on this map. However, kowa scored a frag in the last second to tie it up at 19-19 when the time ran out, this lead to a map restart, and a next kill wins situation. Sadly kowa came out on top, but all in all, it was a very good display from soakr, and i’d like to congratulate him on his podium finish.
